Complete office reconfiguration, Bagshot

On this project we installed a mix of solid and glass stud type partitioning to divide the large open plan office into 4 smaller office small business suites.  The stud partitioning system offers great sound reduction properties and fire resistance within office space.  The solid partitioning was decorated over with white contract vinyl wallcovering, aluminium trims to all plasterboard joints and a standard white laminated skirting.  The construction detailing means the partitioning is full demountable, which was important for this Client to have the flexibility to alter the office suite sizes upon demand.

The glass partitioning modules were purposely located adjacent to each door to allow for a viewing panel, which complies with the Building Regulations when the doors themselves do not have vision panels.  The glass modules comprise toughened safety glass and integral venetian blinds which can be opened and shut for privacy or open view.  The doors are all oak veneered and solid cored with our standard lock and handle packs, so all suites can be individually securely locked.

We also carried out some essential ceiling repairs on this project, where the AC engineers had removed and poorly re-instated the ceiling grid and tiling.  Also some grid was damaged from the old partition removal.  So we replaced grid sections and tiles to leave the ceiling looking like new and safe.  There were also a few repairs required to the raised access floor.

The project concluded with 4 mixed sized self-contained office suites, service corridor and kitchen break out area.  We are finding many more customers going this route, by dividing large office areas into smaller affordable office suites.  These are perfect for small business, people who need to self-isolate during this pandemic or business people that just cannot work from home.
