Removal of existing concealed grid ceilings, converting classrooms into much needed office suites, and continuing the look through to the corridors. Supply and installation of a flat suspended ceiling using AMF Fine Stratos 600mm x 600mm square edge, micro perforated tile. All laid into a standard 24mm exposed white gridwork, and hung off galvanised steel spun wire from the structural soffit above. A new white perimeter trim installed all round to complete the look. The AMF Fine Stratos micro perforated ceiling tile provides excellent physical properties in fire protection and acoustics. The irregular holes of the micro perforation lead to increased sound absorption values as well as the fine sanded surface gives the ceiling tile its distinctive, refined appearance and contributes to a high quality overall impression. The new gridwork has allowed the installation of integrated LED panels rather than surface fixed panels, this promotes a professional feel along with introducing the correct LUX lighting levels.
