We were contacted by CiSport to look at installing suspended ceilings into their new staff areas under the mezzanine floor and their new meeting room and offices on the mezzanine floor.

We therefore proposed a fire rated ceiling throughout, manufactured by AMF.  The ceiling tile we specified was from the Thermatex Range being the Fine Stratos perforated square edged white ceiling tile, which we laid into the AMF 24mm wide Ventatec white finished gridwork.  These products combined will achieve up to 60 minutes fire resistance.

The fire resistance was the important part of why we specified a AMF ceiling solution, as ceilings under a mezzanine floor should achieve up to 60 minutes fire resistance when people are working on the mezzanine floor above.  We also specified the perforated version of the AMF Fine Stratos tile as the perforations dramatically improves the acoustic performance of the ceiling tile.

The AMF ceiling range also is very versatile and readily available and always gives a professional look when fitted into office and meeting room areas.  Our client was extremely happy with the project and now has warehouse areas which are extremely functional office and meeting room areas.

The flooring works we carried out, and like any new build project required some preparation works prior to installing carpet tiles.  We therefore feather screeded the mezzanine chipboard floor joints, sanded and swept the sub-floor prior to installing a primer coat.  We then fitted carpet tiles onto the chipboard flooring using manufacturers recommended adhesive.  The preparation work was required to stop the un-even mezzanine chipboard seams being seen through the carpet tiles.

Supplied and installed 80m2 of floorhub loop carpet tile these are 100% dyed nylon, heavy commercial wear with a minimum of 10 year warranty.
